Mark your calendars for the finest golf and culinary event and party of the year: the annual Lake Las Vegas Classic on September 27 and 28, 2025 at Reflection Bay Golf Club. The two-day non-profit event will donate 100-percent of its net funds raised to the Southern Nevada Junior Golf Association. The Lake Las Vegas Classic combines golf, music, and a feast to create a cool vibe that will hopefully become a staple on your annual event calendar. Participants can choose to enjoy both golf and the feast, or the feast alone.
“This event is one of a kind,” says Ryan Chackel, president of the Lake Las Vegas Classic. “I’ve been to a lot of golf tournaments and culinary events, but nothing that combines the two in such a unique setting. We bring golf and the culinary arts together and both the golfer and non-golfer alike can enjoy the event. The setting at Lake Las Vegas at Reflection Bay is perfectly suited for what we do, from a golf course perspective, of course, but also hosting over 15 chefs, wineries, a stage with a dance band, and so much more.”
For the Friday golf event, put a foursome together to challenge up to 60 other teams in the morning or afternoon shotgun, or enter as an individual and get paired up with some new friends.
The round of golf at Reflection Bay Golf Club—an award-winning Jack Nicklaus course—starts off right with a continental breakfast for morning golfers and a barbecue lunch between rounds for all golfers. Event format is a shamble with gross and net scoring, closest to the pin and long drive competitions, a skins game, and various contests on tee boxes with prizes awarded.
For some, this is a two-part event with a golf tournament and a culinary feast, but you do not have to play golf on Friday in order to attend the culinary feast on Saturday night. Those enjoying golf on Friday will be joined by over 1,000 other guests at The Feast on Saturday evening, also at Reflection Bay Golf Club. Guests will enter a culinary and beverage paradise. Your one-time ticket price allows you to sample a variety of amazing food prepared by chefs from up to 15 of the Las Vegas Valley’s finest restaurants. In addition to the culinary delights, guests can enjoy wineries, breweries, tastings, and try unique cocktails.
It won’t take long to understand why the event is called The Feast. The servings are small plates, which means you can go back as many times as you wish. As you sample, be sure and note your favorites and visit those establishments later. In addition to the chefs, The Feast features wineries, multiple bars, and a beer garden with the finest brews on tap thanks to Southern Glazer’s Wine and Spirits.
Perhaps most anticipated will be Patrick & the LVB, who will start the music and dancing at 7:00 and go late into the night. The band is led by Patrick Sieben, an Emmy Award-Winning singer and songwriter who will knock your socks off. They have quickly become one of Las Vegas’ top bands and currently hold a weekly residency at Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino, performing a young and energetic mix of modern pop tunes, classic hits, and originals. While maintaining their residency in Vegas, Patrick and his band travel across the world performing original and cover shows and for corporate clients such as Google, Hewlett-Packard Enterprise, Amazon, FedEx, Lexus, Harley Davidson, Budweiser, and many more.
